Appointment to apply for a Schengen Visa – Short-Term Visa
Short-Term Visa - Visa for temporary stay in the territory of Spain and other member states of the Schengen area. The stay cannot exceed 90 days per period of 180 days. The validity period may be from a few days (usually issued for the exact dates of travel) to several years, but the duration of the travel or the number of days of stay in the Schengen territory must not exceed 90 days per period of 180 days. The purpose of the travel can be: business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, property owners, sports, culture, science, studies (up to 90 days), transit, medical reasons…

Appointment to apply for a National Visa – Long-Term Visa
National Visa applications can be submitted previous appointment only at the Consulate General of Spain in Moscow.
Please note that on the website of the Visa Application Centre you can only schedule an appointment for National Visa applications. Before you schedule your appointment, determine the type of visa that is appropriate to the purpose of your stay:
NATIONAL VISA FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE AND WORK FOR HIGHLY SKILLED WORKERS, HAVING A "BLUE CARD" OF THE EU
Citizens who have a "Blue Card", issued for highly skilled workers.
NATIONAL VISA FOR FAMILY REUNIFICATION IN GENERAL REGIME
Family members of foreign citizens, legally residing in the territory of Spain on the basis of a residence permit (spouse, parents, and children).
NATIONAL VISA FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE FOR SCIENTIFIC
Citizens who carry out research and similar projects related to scientific activities.
NATIONAL VISA FOR RESIDENCE AND FIXED-TERM WORK IN PAID EMPLOYMENT
Foreign citizens with a contract to work in Spain for a fixed period exceeding 90 days.
NATIONAL VISA FOR RESIDENCE AND SELF-EMPLOYMENT
Foreign citizens planning to organize the opening and operation of a business or professional activities on the basis of the current draft.
NATIONAL VISA FOR RESIDENCE AND WORK IN PAID EMPLOYMENT
Foreign citizens with a long-term contract to work in Spain.

NATIONAL VISA FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE WITHOUT WORK ACTIVITIES
Foreign citizens with a property (owned or leased) in Spain, as well as a steady source of income sufficient for his and his family members’ residence for the entire period of stay in Spain without the right to perform labour or professional activities.
NATIONAL VISA FOR RESIDENCY IN EXCEPTION REGIME TO WORK AUTHORIZATION
Specialists, scientists, teachers of private or public schools, representatives of civil and military authorities of other states, journalists of foreign media, creative works within a specific timeframe of no more than five consecutive days, or twenty days in a period up to six months. Minors on working age in the care of competent organizations for the protection of children's rights.
NATIONAL VISA FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE IN SPAIN FOR STUDIES, PARTICIPATION IN STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMS, INTERNSHIPS WITHOUT WORK, VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS, FOR MORE THAN 90 DAYS.
As for the issue of such visas require the prior approval of the authorities of the region where you plan to study, it is recommended to apply for long-term training visa at least 30 days before the anticipated entry into Spain.
