Attention Visa Applicants Applications for stay visas (Schengen) can be lodged WITHOUT appointment. Payment of handling fee must be made cash in roubles at the Visa Application Centre. A visa application cannot be accepted until payment of the handling fee is received. The Visa Application Centre is instructed NOT to accept incomplete files. The Consulate General can require the presence of visa applicants in its premises for an interview. The consideration of stay visa applications takes 3 working days (starting the day after to the date of submission) in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. According to a common new version, that must be followed by all the States member of the Schengen Agreement on the subject of visas, the processing time for transit and Short Stay visas, requested by the nationals of BELORUSSIA, takes now 15 calendar days. Applicants for National visas (residence) can apply, in person or through an authorized representative, straight at the Consulate General of Spain in Moscow with appointment on working days between 08:00 and 14:00.
