The application for a Schengen visa has to be made in the Consulate of the country where the MAIN PURPOSE OF TRAVEL lies. Therefore, please check your travel plans before making your application to the Consulate General of Spain in Moscow or St. Petersburg. In case you are planning to travel to multiple Schengen countries, please make your application to the Consulate where you are going to stay for a longer time. In the case you are visiting several Schengen countries and you are planning to stay in each of them the same number of days / nights, you should arrange a visa at the Consulate of the country of first entry.

Schengen visa is valid for: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

A Schengen visa is not appropriate if you wish to remain in a Schengen country for longer than 3 months or take up employment or establish a business, trade or profession.

While submitting the application, the applicant must pay cash in roubles for the visa fee plus an additional handling fee of 830 roubles per application. These fees will not be refunded if the application is finally denied.

To receive any visa in less than 24 hours, you must pay the visa fee established, the additional fee of 830 roubles and a charge of 750 roubles for the cost of courier delivery.

The consideration of stay visa applications takes 3 working days (starting the day after to the date of submission) in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. The processing time for transit and Short Stay visas, requested by the nationals of BELORUSSIA, takes now 15 calendar days.

Applicants wishing to apply for a transit visa or a short stay visa up to 90 days are required to submit their applications with all requisite documents at the Spain Visa Application Centres mentioned - Click here

Important to Note:
Applications for Long Stay visas (Studies of more than 90 days and Residence) must be submitted directly at the Consulate General of Spain in Moscow or St. Petersburg.

Attention applicants applying directly at the Visa Application Centre: We will not accept payments made through Bank. Fees are paid in cash in Rubbles at the Visa Centre the day of application.

As per the New Russian Law on Personal Data Protection, all Applicants who are applying themselves or through a Courier Representative need to ensure that the Forms are signed by each Individual and submitted along with their Application. For these Forms please click here.
